Well, not a great week for Chicago folks yet again. Chicago PD reported yet another 30 shooting incidents bringing this years total up to 2,543 incidents. Pretty amazing since they have the strictest gun control laws in the country.
Meanwhile back in August , Anthony Evans showed up at his ex-girlfriends house and proceeded to choke and beat the poor victim with a pipe. One of the ladies roommates fortunately was able to come to her defense. After he refused to back down, the roommate shot Anthony in the lower abdomen (I’m guessing she may have been aiming a little lower). The police arrived to find him laying in the backyard, took him to the hospital and later charged him with felony domestic abuse. I guess Anthony learned a valuable lesson, never hit a woman, especially when she has a well armed friend.
