Bill and his wife Isabel started this journey in February 2014. At the end of January 2014, their son was a victim of a home invasion robbery while in his apartment in Denton. The robbers were never caught, but thankfully their son and his friend were unharmed. This journey is to allow them to witness how God can take a tragic incident like this and turn it into a blessing.
Since the incident, Bill has taught many friends, family, and co-workers about responsible gun ownership and how to safely handle guns and how to shoot accurately.
In 2015, Bill decided to make this a part-time job, and earned NRA certifications as a handgun instructor and reloading instructor, and obtained his Federal Firearms License (FFL). Most recently he completed his Texas License to Carry Instructor certification.
Bill is also an avid competitor and fan of the Collin County IDPA and volunteers his services to fellow CCIDPA members.
Joshua 1:9
9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
==And so he has every step along our journey.
